I read a lot of reviews for a bunch of stands and decided on this one partly because it was Prime eligible. I couldn't be happier. It arrived in a fairly unmarred box which is a feat for something so heavy. The parts were well laid out in the box and there were exactly enough nuts, bolts and washers to assemble it. The exploded view diagram made the assembly fast and simple.

I had to rent a cherry picker to hoist the engine on the stand and fortunately the width of the stand rolled in between the legs of the hoist to make that task a snap. I'm using the stand for a Ford 5.0 H.O. engine out of a 1990 Mustang which weighs about 450 lbs. The stand doesn't deflect at all. The cast wheels roll easy too.

Stand delivered was red. It's quick to assemble and well made, takes a lot of weight no problem and rolls fine. Only challenges I've had are 1-being able to get my engine hoist close enough to the stand to mount the motor (ended up suspending the motor with my backhoe loader) and 2- the mounting plate itself is a shade small for bigger engines. I last mounted a 4 cylinder diesel motor from a Dozer and it took some creativity to get it to fit.

Good stand for the money -- sturdy and stable. My only two gripes are that the stand is too wide in the front to move it very between the legs of a Torin 2 ton engine hoist so getting the engine with mounting plate into the stand itself can take some effort, and when rotating the engine on the stand the hole for the locking pin becomes misaligned very easily, requiring some twisting and hammering to get it back in line.

I've read that other people have said bad things about this product, but I'm very happy with my purchase! I have a BBC on my stand and it's holding it very well. All parts came with nothing missing.great product for the price!!

This will mount the motor. Price is good if just need something to hold up a motor. Hardware was missing; not enough washers or correct size bolts, which are cheap, but I would have preferred for them to be in the package. This is not the stand for precise measurements or blueprinting. Does not appear to mount the motor level (AMC 4.0L, 242 CID). Turning the long block is a bear and you for sure need someone on the other side. Just the block not too bad. I wish there was bearings or something to hold the mount shaft; which in turn I should've noticed it didn't have them. It has too much play. My first engine stand with my first rebuild, so it works for me and given the price. So, three stars, due to hardware missing.

"OK, for the price." It did the job, holding a '99 2.2L Toyota Camry engine. Like the four-wheel design--provides more stability; never tipped or felt like it would. Folding design good for compact storage.

The rotational positioning hole is over-sized (or the pin is under-sized), so the engine slops around. Also two of the engine mounting bolt guides were welded really crooked; had to "hog" them out with a 1/2" bit to get the bolts through them and into the back of the engine block.

Too lightweight for a regular shop that does lots of engines, but OK for occasional use.

Fast shipping, box arrived undamaged, nothing missing, easy to assembly, appears to be very well made, much heavier than my 1000 LB version, As others stated, it doesn't fit between the legs of my engine lift, but I've found a work around, I've got an overhead electric hoist. I trust this stand over my smaller ones for large heavy engines, holds my 2005 Ford F-150 5.4 with no problem. The folding leg design is a very nice option, my other one has to be unbolted to keep from taking up to much space

You can't use this with a engine lift. The outboard cross leg won't fit between the legs of a hydrauic engine lift. Completely dumb design. Pin Hole doesn't line up when you fold up the leg. And the foldup leg is so loose, the stand teeters on the center caster. Big and heavy . . . not sure if it's strong. I hate it.
