I bought two of these 20-ton jacks on Amazon for what one jack would cost me locally, and received free shipping. They are solid, substantial jacks that seem to function properly. I have already lifted my house with them, and they performed exceptionally. Very highly recommended.

Borrowed a neighbors bottle jack to lift my 4.5" lifted Jeep XJ and loved it more than the stolen standard-roll-under mechanics jack I have always been used to using and so I opted for this monster. Although it was as wide as his (the girth on his jack was really comforting) this one has not let me down nor do I expect it to drop on my head...ever! That's a bold statement but it's one I am more than comfortable saying. At 20 tons I do not expect this to let go of anything while I am under my vehicle. It's definitely a great buy and worth the money spent.

I was looking for a 20 ton bottle jack and after reading the positive reviews, I decided to buy this. The problem with this jack is that it will not go down at all after turning the release valve. If you push the ram down with your hand while exerting a lot of pressure, it will go down with a certain amount of evert. Not a good idea when you need to remove the jack, it'll be stuck to whatever you're lifting. I did follow instructions and checked for over-filled oil and also bleed the air: no effect, the jack still didn't go down. Also, this jack is "MADE IN CHINA", which may explain the POOR quality control, it was never checked to see if the jack operated properly and when I received and opened the package, there was a very strong fume emitting from inside the package: red paint was inside the package, it appears the factory didn't even let the paint dry. I cannot recommend this jack and will be returning it. I'll be looking for a "MADE IN THE USA" jack.

I purchased a pair of these jacks to do foundation repairs around my 100+ year old home. These jacks are sturdy and of excellent quality. The great price and free shipping from amazon makes them a steal of a deal.
