When Natalie Imbruglia first debuted, I have to admit I wasn't listening to popular music much. This song really caught my interest (an almost undeniable fact that it was morbidly overplayed). I love the opening guitar and drums, it's simplistic. Then comes the voice of what I remember many as claiming was an angel's. Well, in reality, it was just Natalie Imbruglia, a singer with a style all her own.

"Torn" is one of those songs that bridges the gap between pop and adult contemporary/new age. The backing vocals are stunning! One of those songs anyone and everyone can relate to, and I think it would appeal to fans of most any kind of music.

Natalie has proven her dedication as a singer, & that torn or not, life will go on!!! Nat's awesome, & she'll stay that way, I hope!!

This is a great single! I listen to it everyday! I'm 10 and I love it! A great gift for preteens!

This release is just incredible! It has the hit song 'Torn' as well as 'Sometimes' and 'Frightened Child', two hard-to-find songs here in the U.S. The songs have meaning behind them, and they belnd in together to show Natalie's personality.

"Torn" is a great, great song, sung well with great lyrics and a catchy hook. Next to Jennifer Paige's "Crush" it is the best pure Pop song of 1998. Buy Natalie Imbruglia's import single of "Torn" (if you can find it) but don't shell out an extra five or six bucks for the rest of the album. If you're looking for hits like "Torn", you will not find them on "Left Of The Middle" as the album doesn't measure up to this stellar single.

This cd is great, I never get tired listening to it! Besides Torn, the other 2 songs are equally good as well. A must for Natalie Imbruglia's fans!!

The song "Torn, by Natalie Imbruglia, is original, great and good to sing to. I always sing the song with Natalie when I hear it. It is great and I advise everyone to buy or listen to it. But there are some CD's that are better (Such as Good Will Hunting!!!)

Natalie is a good artist. I like this song and all of my friends like it to. She is very talented. TORN is the name of her biggest song, and that's the one I like the best, even though they're all good. You should buy this CD. It is AWESOME!!!!! Check out her MUSICVIDEO too!!!

The song would evoke fresh memories of loving and having lost a lover.
