Second in the Triangle Club Series, Jon, Shawn and Max become caught up in a mystery involving the theft of a scientific manuscript on tornadoes.
Gr 3-6--When an old, apparently worthless manuscript is stolen from the museum, 14-year-old Jon Garrick and his friends help find and capture the thieves. The author incorporates the use of current technology such as e-mail and the Internet into the plot. Scientific information about weather, especially tornadoes, is skillfully woven into the story and reinforced in appendixes. Unfortunately, despite these appealing elements, the text is often stilted--especially the dialogue--and the character development is both shallow and lacking in subtlety, making this a marginal purchase.

An action packed book for any child!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Tornado Warning (The Triangle Club Adventures, No 2) (Paperback)
When I first read Tornado Warning, my eyes were glued to it! It is full of adventure and excitement. Any child who's looking for a new book to read, has found their book! I really enjoyed reading Tornado Warning, and if you haven't yet read Indian Gold, the first book in the Triangle Club Adventures, you should read it first. Enjoy reading!
