POWER, POWER AND MORE POWER, this thing is awesome. I've had one other than this but the Toro literally blows it away. Very nice attachments that make it even more powerful to use. Highly recommend and for the price,,,,,steal.

So far so good. Have only used it a few times. We have lots of trees, so I am only using it to clean our large two level deck, driveway, and small walk way. I am elderly, so I like it because it's small and light weight.

I like the cost and size of the blower, not too big and the two speed it great. However, I have worked on machines for years and I know when something is off balance. The blower is all black plastic with only the few stickers on it to have the name brand. I would assume that they take this same blower and sell it under a lot of brand names. Now back to the balance issue. It is some part inside of it; it has to be the fan blade that was not balanced so as it runs it vibrates badly. With this vibration it may only last about 20 hours of use. However, it cleans the leaves up so fast that I do not have to use it long. I bought it to put down at the lake on my camp site to have to use while down for a weekend. It is small and handy and does not take up much room in my storage shed. It is great for what I need it for and the price was great. However, if you run a lawn service were you will be using it a lot or everyday then I would recommend buying a commercial grade at a much higher price. I guess it depends on what you want. High price and last a long time or cheap price and a smaller grade in quality but still gets the job done. As long as it works I will keep it. I did not want to a lot of money in a leaf blower that most of the time was going to sit on a shelf anyway. I got what I paid for and I gave it four stars.

So many positive reviews here, mine isn't really needed, but I just love this thing so much I have to review it. I DESPISE yard work. Unfortunately, I am very poor and my house is very crappy, so I don't have money to spend on a landscaper (yet!). I'm also very lazy, so I will admit that I mow whatever leaves I can with my mulching lawnmower. But, for the areas where leaves collect (like against the house and in flower beds), this thing rocks. I rake them into a pile out in the open (which also breaks up and clusters of leaves that are clumped together), then I vacuum them up with this baby. My town made it mandatory that we use paper yard waste bags instead of plastic. I hated them at first, but now, with this thing, collecting leaves is easy. Once the vacuum bag is full, I detach it, put the whole thing inside the paper bag, then unzip. I repeat this process about 3 times per bag. I don't have to stomp on the leaves to compress them in the bag anymore. I can probably fit the contents of 10 plastic bags of whole leaves into 4 or 5 paper bags when mulched.

I also want to mention that I am a tiny little woman and this thing is a breeze to use. The hardest part is detaching the bag from the main unit, but I manage.

Definitely not for heavy duty lawn cleaning, but good for small cleanups such as driveways and patios. Light enough to use to clen gutters (if you have a cape and a ladder), but laborious.

I should have paid attention to the reviews indicating that this unit does not last. I received it approximately 6 weeks ago and used it once for both blowing and vacuuming. This past weekend, I attempted to use it a second time, and it would not even turn on. This morning I discovered that if I decide to try to claim warranty service (replacement), I will have to ship the entire unit to the Toro service center postage prepaid. Apparently there is no repair option on electrical equipment.
During its one and only use, the blower performed well. When vacuuming, I found that even though I used the shoulder strap, it was necessary to hold the unit with one hand and use the other hand to stretch the bag out behind me. Otherwise, the bag tended to flop down and cover the area of attachment to the vacuum, preventing leaves from passing through. (Maybe this would not be a problem for a taller person.) When dumped, the leaves were about 50% intact.

Addendum: Am adding 2 stars; before packing it up to return to service center, I tried it once more and it worked. Same outlet(s), same extension cord. Am very grateful but I do wonder what will happen next time I try to use it.

I actually purchased this blower for my grandmother (she's over 80 years old!). She has several trees near her house, and hates having leaves on her driveway and porch. Her last blower finally died, and she was looking for an inexpensive replacement. After reading the other reviews for this blower, I decided to buy it for her.

The box that arrived was surprisingly small, but once you get it assembled (very, very easy), it's a decent size (on the small side, honestly). The blower is very light and easy to manage. It has a short cord hanging off of it to to plug into the extension cord - a few inches - but is much better than her old one which only had the prongs to plug the extension cord into. She uses it regularly, and I've used it a few times when I was visiting her. There are two settings, but we only use the higher of the two. To be honest, I don't see much of a purpose for the lower setting, but it's there if you need it. It isn't a professional grade blower, of course, but is definitely sufficient if you only plan to blow leaves or grass clippings off your sidewalk/porch/driveway. She is very happy with it, and the price can't be beat.

This leaf blower replaces the old hand held electric blower that just recently "gave up the ghost". It served me well for many years. It was also the smallest, cheapest, handheld electric leaf blower that I could find at the time. My old blower was not treated well. I neglected it terribly. This new unit "Toro" produces the expected results. Electric leaf blowers are much quicker and easier to get going and accomplish the task at hand. All I have to do is plug it in switch it on and start blowing leaves.
The huge Live Oak trees as well as Pines keep me busy all year long.
This unit seems to be a little bit quieter than my last one. That is a good thing.
It is very light weight.
The cord holder is not as well designed as the previous blower seemed to be. I am sure that I can remedy this issue in short order but that is the only thing that I can think of that would be considered in the negative column.
I will also be using this unit (as I did the previous one) to climb up on the roof and blow off the leave that accumulate there. Anything heavier or bulkier would not be desired for this job as well.

Everything is pretty much as it should be here. Only thing I don't like is the shoulder strap. It connects to the bag and deforms it as it hangs off your shoulder.
