This product performs exactly as it should. Install and forget. I used the bottom fitting on them. Just realize you need to dig down significantly deeper than the height of the sprinkler. The flex tubing adds about 2" plus the diameter of the PVC line your running for them. Expect 9-10" depth needed. If your using the side fitting and running the main line adjacent to the sprinkler rather than under it still expect to need 7-8" depth. Still they install easy and the versatility of heads for them makes them usable for any situation. I have a dozen of them running the perimeter of my yard to get a 3-5' wide section of plants. If you've never installed sprinklers before make sure you understand "head to head spacing" and proper pipe sizing.

Toro makes dependable products. I have them in my irrigation system for over 14 years and 90% of them are still functioning since day one.
