Not much to say; it does the job.
Installation instuctions were quite good, detailing a wiring connection change necessary for certain models of timers. A particularly good value when purchased through Amazon.

I replaced my Hunter wired sensor that has been "baked" almost since the day I installed it. It just never worked right. The Houston, Texas sun and humidity may have something to do with this. This Toro wired rain sensor is awesome. It took 10 minutes to install and works! I am using it with a Toro controller and that may be the reason it's superior over the Hunter. I feel this sensor is a great value and I strongly recommend it!

This product conserves water and saves money by interupting the power to my sprinkler system when it is raining. Works very well.

I wired this into a Rain Bird controller which uses a normally closed sensor. That's the more common one and therefore no adjustments were needed. It can be switched to normal open if needed. There's an easy adjustment to set the sensitivity; I set mine to 1/4 inch. I installed it on a gutter and ran the wire behind the down spout into the garage. We've only had rain twice but it's done it's job just fine both times. Nothing looks stupider or more wasteful than a watering system running during the rain. For less than $20 every system should have one.

Easy to install, works good although you may still have to manually shut down your sprinklers when it rains plenty in the morning and your systems is set to start in the evenings.

Easy to install and seems to be working but haven't had enough rain to tell for sure yet. Great price and quick shipping.

Toro Wired Rain Sensor #53769 Great product... easy to install. Works on either a "closed circuit" or "open circuit" irrigation station.

I selected this sensor based on the Toro reputation, and the reasonable price, as a replacement for my original no-name sensor. It went into place in less that 10 minutes, and has worked just fine since!
