Really well laid out book.,
This review is from: The Tortilla Book (Paperback)
This was written so that anyone could pick this book up and make amazing food. She lists the basic ingredients and foods first. For instance, when a recipe calls for a Poblano pepper, you already know that they are to be charred over an open flame, peeled and cut into strips. Also, each recipe is broken down into smaller processes- what's in the sauce goes with instructions for making the sauce.
Keep in mind however that this is not a book on how to make many types of tortillas, but rather a book on the foods that require tortillas. She does include some very detailed instructions on how to make excellent corn tortillas, but when I picked up the book I assumed from the title that it was literally a book on tortillas. I am happy to say that it is not. The Green Enchilada recipe on page 126 was simple to make, delicious and unanimously loved.

Great Deal!,

Buying used books through Amazon is a great deal! Incredible price, book was in good condition as listed. In this world of instant gratification though the shipping seems rather slow, but it's certainly worth the wait.
