The information in this book is somewhat up to date, but how could such a thin book cover all the aspects of natural history AND captive care of tortoises? The captive care section is limited and does not do a good job of explaining husbandry methods. Diet and lighting are lacking alot, both in vital aspects and basic points. The section on natural history of species isn't a lot and most of it can be found on the Internet. Legality issues are also frequently wrong. My recommendation: don't buy this book.
