Torts and Personal Injury Law, 3rd Edition is a timely and topical text that will keep students' interest and prompt their desire to further explore this area of law. It presents only cases with the greatest application to each subject area, most of which have been decided since 2000. This text contains the most recent cases compared with any other text available. The material makes a lively presentation of memorable examples and cases, aimed at provoking thought and classroom discussion. And, the text does excellent job of explaining cases in such a way that someone unaccustomed to reading statutes but interested in personal injury law will understand and benefit from the content.

This is a very well written textbook on the Law of Torts (American law dealing with injuries done to others). There are a few books out there now that communicate the law very well to us newbies. I highly recommend this book just for these two reasons: clarity and effectiveness.
