Well written, with lots of definitions and samples. For begining law students who have no clue what Tort Law is, this book is solid foundation.

For the class that I am currently taking I find this book to be very efficient. It has all the Torts Law information to know. It has real Legal examples which makes it great. It gives you all the definition necessary to understand the law. I like the book a lot.

This is a very well written textbook on the Law of Torts (American law dealing with injuries done to others). There are a few books out there now that communicate the law very well to us newbies. I highly recommend this book just for these two reasons: clarity and effectiveness.

What a rip off,

If the retail price of a textbook is $152, I would expect the publishers to hire a copy editor who knows how to read. In just a quick scan I've found the word "gun" used instead of "gum," "international," instead of "intentional," and "If" is apparently spelled with two Is these days. Also, the information tables are insultingly elementary ... not unlike what you'd expect to find in a fourth-grade reader.
There is a lot of useful information in the book. I'll say that for it. But, all in all, I'd say the price of the book combined with it's quality actually made me angry.

Highly disappointed,

This edition, the 3rd, turned out to be more out of date than I thought it would be. The legal theory parts were current almost word for word with the 4th edition which the instructor required. However, the cases examples were outdated. These are an integral part of the course. The instructor tried to make a fit, but it would be very inconvienient. I have tried calling the seller, By Chance,to get her return and refund policy. No response to my message. I have also sent a couple of emails. Again, no response. Torts and Personal Injury Law.I would really appreciate it if someone from Amazon would shake this seller up.
