Editorial Reviews

Product Description

Since she arrived in Italy, Azazel hasn’t been able to stop having nightmares. Sometimes her boyfriend Jason is covered in blood, grinning at her like a demon. Sometimes there is a gun in her hand, and she’s shooting the people she loves the most. The only way to stop the dreams is to drown them in liquor.

Azazel can hardly concentrate on anything else. Not the library located in the Sol Solis School. Not the secrets about Jason’s origins they need to discover there. Not the prom. Not the fact that she can’t have orgasms.

Azazel feels like black water is closing over her head. And she doesn’t know if she can breathe anymore.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entrancing., April 21, 2011
This review is from: Tortured: Book Three of the Jason and Azazel Trilogy (Kindle Edition)
In the third Jason ans Azazel book, Chambers pushes the envelope even further. In the beginning, she tries to lull you into a false sense of security. They seem to be doing well, and even they have begun to think that they can finally have a normal life. Then weird things start happening to them. They don't seem bad, just very weird, and instead of taking these things as a warning, they brush them off. You'd think Jason would have learned his lesson from the goings on in Trembling and started listening to Azazel, but no. And so history repeats itself with more violent encounters... but this time they're bloodier and more horrifying. It's amazing to me how, as a reader, Jason and Azazel can be so violent, and instead of hating them or worrying about their mental capacity, you just want them to win. You don't care how many people they have to kill or what horrible things they do... you just want them to finally be left alone, to be allowed to be who they are together (which just might be evil incarnate that causes the destruction of the world as we know it). It doesn't matter how evil they are... you get caught up in their world, believing that what they are doing is right.

4.0 out of 5 stars The drama continues!, March 2, 2011
This review is from: Tortured: Book Three of the Jason and Azazel Trilogy (Kindle Edition)
The drama, action, violence, mystery, etc. continues to unfold in this 3rd book of the "Jason and Azazel" series by VJ Chambers. I still can't figure out if Jason and Azazel will be together in the end. Sometimes I think that maybe they shouldn't be together. That maybe the world would be better off without the two of them together. I mean, how evil could they be by staying together as a team? I guess you'll have to read it to find out. Ha!

The story continues! This book was exciting and I couldn't get enough of the drama. With all that has happened I wonder if Jason and Azazel will end up together. Some how they just dont seem like they can have a normal happy ending.
