I purchased these bits to open a failed hard drive just for the hell of it. The bits did not break for me. I hoped they wouldn't since a couple others had experienced this, but they held up fine for me. I must say though that the plastic that holds the bits is rock solid and it's very difficult to get the bits out from their casing since it's not flexible at all. Minus one star for the cheap casing.

The product is solid built and in line with the description, my only hope is that it includes more smaller size like T3, T4.

If you need little star bits, well here are some. They worked perfect, fit in the little star holes so I could turn those little star bolts..

I used this set of screwdrivers to replace the battery in a Palm m130, and the T5 was the perfect size.

I bought these bits because I deal with hard drives and required star bits to unlock the screws on them. I finally got the product and tried unscrewing 7 screws with the SD 6 bit and I unscrewed 6 of the 7 and started on the last. I felt a snap and looked down and found that the tip of the bit snapped clean off because the metal was so weak that it twisted like clay. Now the hard drive is still screwed in and the bit is no good anymore. Seeing as one of the bits is broken so easily the others can't be much stronger. Although the size of the bits may factor in, there must be higher quality bits out there that will stand through 7 screws.

I needed these bits to fix a pocketknife, and the t7 fit perfectly, but the points got rounded-off loosening a couple of the tight screws. Not the highest quality metal, but works for small jobs....

I was looking for a Torx bit assortment to tear down old hard drives and scavenge their neodymium magnets. These definitely fit the bill, offering all the necessary Torx sizes to get this done.

This product is perfect. I was looking for a T8 bit in Lowe's but I couldn't find any. I use it for my electric airsoft gun gearboxes. The T8 in this set gets the job done. 5 stars.

Great product to buy and use... very effecient... I use it several times and no dent at all or even a sign for a one..
