Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Toshiba 1.8IN 20GB IDE HDD-5MM HEIGHT ( HDD1422 ) (Personal Computers)
I got this when my 4th gen. ipod failed.
I ordered this after searching for quite some time. Installation was a breeze even though I didn't purchase that little tool used to pry the ipod open (I can't remember what I actually used to get it open but it was a lot easier than I thought).
There is one issue of which people should take note: It seems that there is some conflict with wave files on this drive, it plays mp3's with no problems, but completely and immediately shuts off whenever a wave file is about to begin playing. I haven't tried uploading any more wave files to test this theory any further, but if I do notice any other issues I'll update this review.
