This is a very very good charger A+++++++++ im using it every day its original and every thing is ok on it

I ordered this item expecting a power supply that would be similar to the one I got with my X200. It looks very different (it's ribbed on top, not smooth like the one I got with my laptop). I can RUN my laptop, however the laptop automatically shuts off battery charging after about 3-4 seconds (it seems like it's getting high amperage and so cuts it off as a safety precaution).

I do not suggest this product after using it. Yeah, it makes my laptop run at home or somewhere with power. But my laptop isn't even portable within my own house until I get a new power supply. Not cool.

This was more expensive than the Power Plus version, and I picked it expecting it to do everything the original power supply did. Apparently I should have gone for the Power Plus version. Once I pick that up I'll review it as well.

This product (Toshiba Satellite AC Adapter for X200/X205 Series) is just as the one that came with my laptop computer. No difference, no limitations, work perfectly with my laptop computer. It is an excellent product. Arrive at the exact date specified. Excellent Delivery. This was my first time shopping with Amazon, and it was completely worth the effort. Thanks to Amazon. I have looked all over for the product else where, but couldn't get it. They all place more than the price. Amazon did a good job. Keep your deeds up!!!

Recieved item as described and it does appear to be a real Toshiba Power Supply, but refurbished (yellow connector). So far my laptop (Toshiba Qosimo X505-870) appears to accept it as well. However, the transformer is very noisy which leads me to believe that the internal components may not be to design spec. Therefore, the quality of the power that is being delivered (or transformed) is anyone's guess. In other words, I am not sure of what long-term impact this second rate power supply will have on my battery life. It is important to remember that a laptop battery almost becomes somewhat of a buffer for power quality issues (Harmonic Distortions,etc.) much in the same way a UPS system would filter power and provide a buffer to the load side equipment it is powering (or protecting). All that said, I am sure this product would get you by in a pinch, I just would not use it as your primary adapter. It is cetainly functional as a spare....

Its too bad these adapters have special extra large brick power supplies. Makes laptop even heavier to lug around.
