I use this LCD TV without a cable box to watch news in the kitchen. The HD channels are very crisp. The only nuisance is how slowly the tuner changes channels. This is an issue since on my cable service there are 4 CBS stations, 4 NBC stations, etc. and usually the 2nd one is the HD channel.

Great little TV, works with my daughters Mac Mini. Really the only white one I could find in this size that did. It was a second Amazon purchase to figure that out (needed HDMI and PC connection) not component HDMI (doesn't work). Only drawback is that it doesn't tilt in any way.
The 720 resolution works great with a computer as a monitor.
If you want it to work with a Mac Mini, you'll need to purchase from Amazon HDMI > DVI, Best Buy and most major electronic retailers don't stock it regularly.

It a nice little 22" and I like it alot so far I use it in the bedroom and it's just right for the news....

I am very please with the price and timely delivery of this product. I got it cheaper new than other sites were selling it refurbished. This was not a vital purchase so I had all the time in the world to compare and price the product in stores and on line. My purchase was the cheapest hands down.
