Bought the 20" Toshiba LCD TV(20HL82) back in Dec '05. When the first shipment arrived, the LCD was damaged by the carrier(improper handling). Contacted Amazon and the problem was handled quickly and received the replacement before I even sent out the old one. It is always a pleasure shopping at Amazon! The LCD TV has crystal clear picture, theater-like sound quality, and slim stand. Able to watch TV, use it as a PC monitor, hook up to DVD player, etc. Cool.... It switches channels from the remote a little slow than normal but not a biggy.

I have had this 20HL85 for a few months now. Primarily using it as a monitor because of the great price with a TV included. But beware--some key features are missing, like the auto-off feature on most monitors. When you have your power saving mode set to turn your monitor off after 10 minutes of inactivity, every other monitor out there will turn off/go into standby mode to conserve power. With this one, yeah it turns off signal going to the monitor but the monitor displays its "black" screen which is sort of grey/purple, and has the letters "PC" in white that stay on in the same area. Annoying that you have to manually turn it on and off. Strangely, it will turn off in the TV mode, just not the PC mode. Also, it will not allow you to use the HDMI port on the back for PC mode--thats only for TV. What gives Toshiba? In TV mode, switching between channels ("flipping" or "surfing") is EXTEREMELY slow. Like a full 2 seconds wait.

On the plus side, the built-in speakers are pretty decent sounding and its nice not having stupid PC speakers cluttering up my desk.

This a great TV. 720P resolution makes this high def ready. Picture and sound are excellent.

This LCD HDTV was purchased as a 2nd TV to watch while eating dinner. The picture is great and the sound is adequate for its size. We do wish that the TV had come with an HD tuner built in as we had to purchase a separate tuner. Later models have the HD tuner built in.
