Toshiba didn't forget the audio either. Double baffle speakers provide improved stereo, without connecting additional speakers. And the StableSound technology maintains volume, even when commercials try to shout at you. MTS Stereo/SAP with dbx provides full broadcast stereo quality with access to bilingual or secondary audio signals.
The TV boasts a wide array of input types too. There's the user-friendly front A/V connections, as well as rear A/V inputs, as well as S-Video, ColorStream component video, and the old school RF input. All these options mean you can connect most any device to this TV quickly and easily.
The 20AF45 includes trilingual display, offering English, French and Spanish. The font A/V inputs make it easy to connect video devices or game consoles. And the headphone jack lets you watch TV without disturbing friends and family.
This TV ranks high with parents too. A GameTimer allows for parental control of playing time. The V-Chip and channel lock features let parents control what their children view.
If you're looking for a TV that includes high-end features typically reserved for high-tech/high-cost plasma or HDTV units, the Toshiba 24AF45 is definitely worth a look. You'll be hard-pressed to find such a feature-rich TV at a comparable price point.

A beautiful TV,

This review is from: Toshiba 24AF45 24" FST Pure Flat Screen TV (Silver) (Electronics)
Toshiba and Sony make the best TVs out there, although my Toshiba products have always lasted longer than my Sonys. I have had this TV for 6 months now.Pros: 1) Beautiful picture 2) Great sound 3) The 16:9 mode displays movies beautifully. This is a necessary feature unless you rarely watch movies, it uses the entire 480 lines of horizontal resolution to display the movie, most TVs use 20% of the display to show the black bars, while this tv compactifies the resolution to the middle of the TV 4) Audio out so you can run everything through a stereo 5) Comb filter on the RF input which somehow makes your cable tv look sharper. Necessary feature if you watch much cable. Cons: The remote is pretty busy, its hard to find things fast, and I always confuse the volume and channel up/down buttons, which means I accidentally flip channels sometimes. FYI: When I bought the TV I was under the impression that one could have cable plus 5 devices, but you are limited to cable plus 3. This is because 4 of the rear video inputs (2 composite, 1 component, and 1 S-video) share 2 audio inputs. (In addition, you can attach cable tv in the back and there is one composite with audio connection in the front).
