I've started buying Toshiba electronics, because yes they are good and reliable, but they have the best customer service I have run into. They not only speak clearly, and are patient , but they really help out. I've called them for a couple set up problems, mainly connecting the TVs to DVD recorders, but they have assisted with correcting some problems, because of the DVD recorder. Other than that their instruction manuals are clear and well written with good diagrams. It was easy to set up, putting it into the stand required 3 hands, so you might want to make sure that the third one is nearby.

As for the TV itself, it looks handsome and is very stable. It also has control buttons on the left side so there are alternatives other than the sometimes misplaced remote control
The picture is better than our other TVs and seems just as good as friend's huge very expensive units. The sound is fine and on other TVs I sometimes wind up turning it up to full volume. My only complaint is that when I switch back and forth between TV and DVD/Video use I have to adjust the picture size back to the theater size I want, one would think there would be a way to keep the setting.
Other than that I am sold on this unit and style.

My wife and I purchased this TV for our study. It's a perfect size for the room. Sound and picture are good for it's size. We looked around for quite some time at both name brands and off brands and overall this TV is great value. It received good reviews and ratings from Consumer Reports. Although we have only had this TV for only two weeks I would recommend it.

Good picture, good sound. I'm not sure it is worth the price premium over other 26 inch LCD TV's. BEWARE, has no headphone jack or audio output, so there is no way to send the sound to an external sound system. Also, has no zoom, although there is a special setting to expand 4:3 TV pictures to fill the screen. Plastic frame has white dots at bottom rim of bezel to produce a trompe l'oeil curved effect -- corny.

We bought this TV recently to replace an old box TV and as we thought the 32"s were too large for our bedroom space. As it happens. this was the only 26" offered at the time. We are very happy with this purchase. The picture quality is exceptional (even though we are on an analogue feed). It it perfect watching DVDs. The sound quality is excellent as well. But the thing pushes it to 5 stars - it is very easy to set up and change your preferences after setup. The little user's guide is written in clear language that makes sense and the remote is intuitive. I am so tired of products that give directions that have been down-translated twice. Clearly, someone has respect for English-speaking customers at Toshiba. It may not last as long as our last Toshiba TV - 22 years - but we enjoy it as long as it lasts (or until the technology changes again)

I purchased this Toshiba as a secondary TV. I needed a unit that would fit inside an existing cabinet, which this one just did.

I am very happy with the purchase. The picture quality is quite good. I use its built-in QAM tuner to pick up digital channels from my cable company, as well as an HDMI connection for an external Roku player to stream Netflix, Amazon Video, and other online channels via WiFi. The Toshiba makes Netflix movies look great in 720p HD.

Specific likes are the picture quality and ease of switching from one picture filtering mode to another with the remote control.

My biggest dislike was the difficulty of the initial channel set-up. There is no option to scan only for digital channels. So, I had to scan for all channels, and then manually delete the analog ones individually, one at a time. Even that was cumbersome, as the Toshiba documentation did not explain how to do that. I had to go online, search for instructions, and then figure it out myself. I have four LCD TV's in the house, and this one took by far the longest to set up initially.

The set-up process notwithstanding, I am happy with the Toshiba, and would recommed it. When the 46 inch LCD in my media room is tied up by someone else in the house, the 26 inch Toshiba is a fine second viewing option.

This item arrived and did not work, frustrating and disappointing but I must admit Amazon did everything to make it right and to get a working T.V. into my home. The replacement item is just what I was looking for.

I have always had great results from all TOSHIBA products (Laptops, DVD Players, Hard Drives, etc...) and especially Televisions. They are truly a world class operation mainly concerned with quality and innovation. In fact, according to Consumer Reports, TOSHIBA spends twice as much as the next competitor (SONY) in research and development. And they pass that expertise onto to the consumer in the form of low prices and quality products.

This TV is no exception.

This was the best purchase I have made in a while! The picture is very clear and color is fabulous! size is perfect, all the controls are easy to use, and it has lots of options I can hookup Pc 's with ease, and cameras for viewing pics, Love this Toshiba!!

I needed smaller tv to fit into my cabinet. This one fits the bill. The picture is crisp. The volume is good. I've had no problem with tv programs or dvd's. Colors are true. I would buy this one again. This is my second Toshiba. My first was a rageza and I cannot tell the difference between the two, though the Rageza is supposed to be the better model and it is much more evpensive.

Hi,I just received one of these Very Fine LCDs from Walmart and it plays and sounds GREAT.Have it in a bedroom on a Omni wall mount from Sams for $49.00.Perfect size TV for the bedroom and I just cant say any thing bad about anything.Setup was a snap.Install was a snap.I cant beleive the fantastic sound and picture ..I am running a HDMI to a Phillps DVD player and that is awsome as well..So dont wait, get this Wonderful Toshiba product ,U wont be disapointed..
