Hmmm...
Looks the same...
Works the same...
But it seems to be lasting longer than the original that came with the TV.
Did they fix the manufacturing process???
Perhaps, or maybe the first was a lemon.

My TV control quit working about 8 months ago. We don't watch a lot of television programming, so I didn't rush to replace it. But, when I went to check reviews on line, I was put off by a few negative reviews, so we were without any recourse and and had to get up and change the controls on the set.

Finally, I was so fed up, I ordered from Amazon, trusting the name (despite the fact that it was not an Amazon product).

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the new control works great. It shipped in good time, and it works without a problem. It was also a great price, under $10 without shipping. The original lasted 5 years, so even if I bought one every 5 years, it's a great bargain.
