Video
The MW24H63 has a 24-inch (measured diagonally) FST PURE flat picture tube. The appeal of flat-screens over traditional curved-screen tubes is improved viewing angles and reduced glare from ambient light. Its standard-definition picture is capable of 480 interlaced lines of resolution. A built-in comb filter reduces digital artifacts produced by signal noise, making for more detailed images.

Full-Featured DVD Player
The MW24H63 includes an integrated DVD player compatible with several disc formats: DVD Video, CD-R, CD-RW, VCD and DVD-R. An interesting feature of this player is Digital Picture Zoom, which allows you to select and magnify an area of either freeze-frame or motion video. This set is also DivX home theater certified, which means it display popular Internet video formats, such as DivX, AVI, and MPEG4.

Hi-Fi VHS VCR
The unit's built-in VCR has four 19-micron heads for superior playback at both SP and SLP speeds. It features stereo recording and playback, as well as MTS and SAP audio functions. Most users will appreciate the 30-second skip button, which is designed to advanced the tape precisely 30 seconds, allowing you to bypass the commercials recorded with your favorite programming.

Connections
The set has a built-in digital television tuner, so out of the box it can receive digital broadcast ATSC signals and QAM signals used by most digital cable providers. It also has a built-in 181-channel NTSC tuner, so it can also accept traditional analog signals. Other connections are:

Audio
The MW24H63's built-in front speakers deliver stereo sound, but for those with a 5.1 surround sound system, the MW24H63 outputs Dolby Digital and dts digital audio through a coaxial port. A front headphone jack allows you to watch TV without disturbing those around you--perfect for late-night viewing. Toshiba's StableSound feature maintains television volume within a preset range regardless of the source signal. This is an extremely useful feature when transitioning between a quiet television program and a very loud commercial advertisement or when changing channels.

I have this t.v. The picture is great, The DVD is great, The vhs is great, But the sound is way to low. I have to set in front of the set just to hear it very low. Can not get the sound louder. Tryed everything. And when my 3 months warranty was up so was the T.V.
