The below review is what i wrote as i got my adapter. However, after a month my adapter started to give trouble and only charges my laptop when the wire is being held in certain position. I use any available object to help me keep the wire steady. Do not purchase this.

I own a Toshiba laptop and unfortunately my original adapter stop working so at first i considered to get it repaired but i knew that would take awhile and i needed to have use of laptop so i had to purchase a new adapter quickly. Hence i logged unto Amazon and typed in the adapter specifications and browsed around on prices and sellers. I found this Toshiba Global 65w AC Power Adapter that was the right price and it could have be delivered immediately. I received my adapter in a short period of time and i must say i am pleased. It's compact for traveling and charges my laptop's battery amazingly. I did a great job in choosing this product because it met my needs.

Though this is a good replacement for the original, and cheaper than universal replacements for three times the cost, the overall quality is very poor. The plug which goes into the converter portion is loose and falls out with very little movement. I plugged it in tightly and plugged the other end into the laptop and did not have a connection. I saw the middle plug was falling out. I pushed it in again and saw it was charging. I placed it back on the floor (not dropping on floor) and it came undone again. Very poor quality. Also, the plug into the laptop is oftern made as a 90 degree angle so it does not stick out 2" from the side of the computer, however this one does not benefit from such a design, it has the straight out plug and does not tuck in nicely behind the laptop. I wouldn't order this again and would pay the extra for one of the universal plugs as there was more thought in design and quality as well.

This power adapter is better than the original one that shipped with the laptop. It has a power LED indicator as well as a 90 degree angle at the tip.

I ordered this on July 3, 2011, it shipped on July 4, 2011 and received it a few days later. It worked for 5 months and then quit. When it did work it got so hot I could have used it to cook on. I bought it because it was a "Toshiba" brand product. I will now order an oem because I can't receive anything worse than this genuine Toshiba adaptor which frankly is a piece of junk.

Our puppy chewed through the cables on the adapter that came with my laptop originally (fortunately it wasn't plugged in at the time), so we replaced it with this and we've had no problems out of it thus far. Great to find an OEM piece here for the price as I was kind of horrified with the prospect of paying upwards of $50 through Toshiba Direct or another vendor!

Must be refurbished! Never charged laptop... Got ripped off .. When attempting to charge laptop never works!!! It will charge it a little then stop working .. bought from bestbuy battery

This replacement works great with both of my Toshiba laptops. It has a thicker cord than the original that came with my laptop which bent badly and eventually broke.

Item differs from the picture, with no disclaimer that the actual product may differ. I wanted the straight plug as shown, not the 45 degree one I received, and I wanted the 2 prong 120 cord, also shown, not the 3 prong grounded plug I received. I frequently use my laptop in a turn of the century building that does not have grounded recepticles. Now I have to buy an adapter, find a different cord to fit the power supply or cut off the ground of this one (not reccomended). Additionally, the power cord is shorter than the original, which can be inconvenient and it does not have the power indicator light. I wanted the OEM set-up that was supplied with my laptop, and this isn't it.

Awesome charger works great te only thing I didn't like was that it was a bit shirt otter than that works great nothin an extension cord can't fix

The product was perfect, original. You can trust. It got in my house very fast... Thanks
