OUTSTANDING! It doesn't get better than this Toshiba...I looked at several tv's over the past few months until I decided that this was the best HDTV on the market and boy was I right. (purchased from another online site) Hooked up to my PS3 it is stunningly flawless and there is absoulutly no lag or fuzziness in the picture as with other TV's I've seen. I don't know what else I can say...I was going to buy a Samsung but this picture and sound quality can't be beat!

Great picture, great price. This TV looks fantastic ON or OFF. I needed to fit it in a space exactly 36" wide. The problem was, no store carries this model, so measuring it was not an option. It's an online purchase only and the online stores gave a width spec of 36.5". I checked the Toshiba website and the spec there was 35.5". I took a chance and luckily the actual width was 35.25". FYI

Service is a big problem.
I ordered this TV on 6-3-08 and was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered on 6-5-08 from TigerDirect. Unfortunately, there was no audio at all when it was hooked up. The merchant requires any warranty service be handled directly through Toshiba; fair enough. Several days elapsed when Toshiba tried to find a service to come repair it. I was advised of that shop's identity and phone number. I contacted them and was told that a part had to be ordered (although they never have personally seen the set I presume they may know their business). Since then, I have been told repeatedly, by the repair service and manufacturer, that the part is on backorder. The net result is that as of 8-14-08 I still have no audio (but have a very expensive paperweight) and no firm idea as to when or if this will be resolved.

I now have a functioning TV! The defective part was delivered and has been installed. Turns out it was a bad motherboard. The picture and sound on this set are now great. However, the above caution still stands. The delay was unconscionable.

I've had the Regza 37RV530U for a bout 60 days. The picture is outstanding. I compared it to a Sony, Sharp and Samsung and there was no comparison. Two minor items. First, the IR window is in the center of the bottom bezel. If you use separate speakers, the center channel may block it. Second if you use a separte A/V receiver, I found the sound to be better using the digital output on the component (DVD, Cable Box, etc.) and connecting it directly to the receiver versus feeding everything into the TV and having the TV feed the receiver.

This is the best 37" LCD in the market hands down! The picture is bright and vibrant, the sound is crisp and clear. The unit swivels and the menu is user friendly. It picks up an incredible amount of digital channels. Ideal for sports of all kinds. The remote it came with it's buttons glow in the dark. When changing channels it gives you a signal strength for a brief second which tells you what kind of reception it will give you on any given channel. I did notice low signal strength gives a grainy picture. But this has nothing to do with the quality of the unit. Built solid with real screws and only weighs 40 lbs. If you get a chance to purchase one. I definitely recomend this puppy. PIP would make this an awsome unit. But i cant complain with the workmanship and quality. Toshiba has gone out of its way to make this 37" LCD Tv very enjoyable... thank you...

Looked long and hard at various LCD's and decided on the Toshiba. The installation was very simple and the menu is user friendly. Thought it would be difficult to install alone and happily it was a breeze. Love all the bells and whistles. Can add all sorts of other electronics and computers. Everything works well and the image is great. It's so good I want another for the living room.

We are completely satisfide with the TV and also the service we got from Amazon. This was our first time ordering and the speed with which we got the TV was great. Saving on shipping was a real plus. The delivery person brought the TV in, hooked it up to the cable and left. No problems at all. The pictures on the TV are great - sharp and clear. There is a few second hesitation when you go to a different channel, but this to us is not a major problem.

We've had the Toshiba REGZA 37RV530U HDTV for about 3 months now. We got it to replace an old 19 inch TV which was just too small for our new bedroom viewed mostly from around 15-20 feet away. The upgrade to 37 inch was dramatic, we can actually read the DirecTV guide from bed now!
Picture quality on the 37RV530U with our DirecTV Satellite receiver (digital, standard definition) has been very nice after some adjustments, which this TV has plenty of. The surprise has been the over the air High Definition local stations (720p), which look superb on this TV. I attached an old bow tie type antenna we had, not expecting much, but surprisingly we receive most of the local SF Bay area stations in HD. It was a pleasure watching Olympics late night from bed in HD!
This TV also has a VGA input for attaching PCs, which works well for a TV. Have not tried anything at 1080p yet. I wish it had picture in picture, but most LCD HDTVs don't. Overall been very happy with this purchase, well done Toshiba.
For those who might want to save some money, you can go with a 720p HDTV and not sacrifice much unless you have a blueray player or a PS3.

This is the best TV I could find for $1,000 and it fits my family room perfectly in a wall mount. I recommend getting it professional installed and setup for the ultimate viewing experience.

The color and brightness of the LCD display is unbelievable.

Set was 15 months old (just 3 months out of warranty). Picture went out. Failure trouble report stated it was a inverter that went bad. However Toshiba won't sell the inverter without the panel assembly which cost...$1200 (I paid $1000 for the set 15 months ago). Toshiba's position is this is an old set (that was their exact comment) out of warranty and no consideration will be given...so much for a quality product. If you buy this set make sure you have a extended warranty or you will be very, very sorry. Last Toshiba product I will buy...
