Very nice desk top replacement computer for a reasonable price. Thought I was getting something I could play games on but with only 32 processor
it won't play my game. Guess I should have checked it out more carefully.

Screen is bright and clear and keyboard is easy and funtional.

Windows Vista has usual problems... doesn't want to work with my hp printer or my wireless router. Typical problems i guess.

I thougt I would try Windows Vista, but after just a few days I couldn't handle it any more. Toshiba does not support Windows XP drivers for this laptop. After i installed OpenSUSE 10.2 (linux) i found out that Windows Vista disables the LAN card when it shuts down! If you like Windows Vista this is a GREAT laptop, otherwise, get something else.

Staples had the same Laptop for $250.00 less. Amazon Customer Service was Great! They tried to match the price by refunding the difference to my account, but it wasn't quick enough and I didn't want to miss out on the purchase price at Staples. Therefore, I refused delivery. Amazon Customer Service was Great! They immediately refunded the balance I paid back to my account once they received the notice of it's refusal and return. Amazon Customer Service was Great!

This laptop had all the features we wanted and more. The 17" screen was more than we bargained for. It was huge! If you don't mine a deskstop feel and marginal battery life this is the laptop to get.

The unit I bought spent more time in the repair depot than me using it.
Today I sent it for repair for the 5th time in less than a year.
You name a problem - it had it - faulty motherboard, hard drive, keyboard,
motherboard again.
Customer service is not better than computer - they refuse to exchange it
even after so many times being in repair.
This is a plain stupidity from their part - the money they spent paing
for repair and shipping by far exceeds the computer cost.
This will be the last Toshiba anything I bue.

This laptop started having problems a few months into owning it (webcam stopped working, etc etc). I tried to format to factory conditions using the provided recovery CDs. They didn't work. Toshiba Customer Service is non-existent: they won't help you! I've had Toshibas for years and liked them. Now they are awful machines. I will never buy Toshiba again. That's your warning!

You can believe all of the item description. Fabulous performer and could use as a replacement for destop units costing more. Definitely an A+++

I had ordered a Dell laptop to replace one I was taking to a second home. After 3 weeks of waiting for the Dell to be shipped and still told it was on backorder; I started to research Toshiba and HP- wanted a 17" screen. I cancelled the Dell and happy I did so. The Toshiba-comparable price etc. is hands down a better PC and am delighted with the performance. Do find, however, that the 17" screen model is not as easy to travel with and will most likely leave it home.

The Toshiba Satellite P205-S6287 17" Notebook is all I had hoped for and more. I have been using it to do some video editing and it works well.

Vista premium .....mmmm, I'd stick to the old windows like XP or 2000, it makes most of the desktops or laptops slow.
