Bobby Lewis's "Tossin' and Turnin'" has to be one of the greatest early sixties classics. An essential addition to anyone's oldies' collection, the song is addictive for its throbbing interplay of guitar and bass and Lewis's spirited vocals which are infectiously backed up by formidable female singers. While many understandably vote for Chubby Checker's "The Twist," "Tossin' and Turnin'" gets my vote for "Twistin' the Night Away".
