good for 18 month old,
This review is from: Tot Tutors Kids' Table and Chair Set, Mission Style Wood (Kitchen)
I love this table and chair set for my 18 month old. The chairs are shorter than any of the other sets we tried and he is able to sit down on them by himself. I wish it was solid wood but I guess that is asking much for the price. I also wish it was a slightly darker color. The rest of my house is furnished in Mission style furniture (from a variety of manufacturers) and they are all a similiar color but this doesn't quite match. It was easy to put together and seems really sturdy. We did need to buy a set of no-skid rubber pads to stick to the bottoms of all the legs because we have hardwood floors.

I purchased this set about one year ago. Since then I have had to replace the legs 3 times. The wood is of very poor quality and the screws in the set keeps coming loose. I am very dissapointed about the overall quality. It is not an expensive set, but spend more money to get something better - and avoid TOT TUTORS products, they are in general of poor quality it seems. Look at reviews at Target also. It seems that everyone is unhappy with this set.

Broke after 2 months,
This review is from: Tot Tutors Kids' Table and Chair Set, Mission Style Wood (Kitchen)
We were excited to get this set for my 20 month old as the decor matched nicely in with our living room. We were quickly disappointed after 3 weeks when one of the chairs begain to wobble and we were unable to tighten the bolt as it wobbled in a location without a bolt. Wood glue helped temporarily, so we removed the chair and were down to 1 chair. At 8 weeks the table leg snapped and splintered while my son was leaning against it. My son is active but was not rough with it. We would not recommend.
