I bought this product intending to improve the blind spots on the mirrors of my 06 Rav 4. The spot mirror looks too large for the original car mirror, that is covering too much of the original mirror. It might be a better product for a large truck mirror. Then I read about adjusting the car mirrors correctly to cover the blind spots, an article published in the AAA magazine. Then I went to a shopping center and parked my car parallel to another car, one lane over, at a distance that would be dangerous if I cut over without seeing the other car. It worked perfectly. My car has a large blind spot area, my old Nissan Sentra and other cars I owned were not as bad. So it made this product not very useful for me.

Mirrors went on easily but I didn't like the fact that they were adjustable. It was impossible to adjust them to the right angle because they kept moving. I replaced them with non adjustable, cheaper mirrors within a week after putting them on
I put these mirrors on my Bullitt Mustang Show car. I went into my garage to find the right side mirror to have broken loose from its mount and it was damaged when hitting the garage floor. I glued the mirror back in place even though it had blemishes from impacting with the floor. The next day I observed that the glue apparently had caused a reaction and the mirror was clouded up and wouldn't clean up. Today I was driving down the highway when I observed the drivers side mirror to fly out of the mount and it bounced off the window and wasn't retrieved from the highway. This mirror addition has turned into a nightmare in that I now have two broken/defective mirrors with the mounts still stuck to my side view mirrors. I will be attempting to heat the mounts with a hair dryer and hopefully will be able to pop off the mirrors without damaging my show cars side view mirror glass. What a terrible product.
