I got this thinking it would work great on the computer in my garage. Yeah...no. I should have waited for the Haynes manual to ship.

The "software" appears to use a modified version of Acrobat Reader 5 (including several well documented security issues) and only appears to work on Windows Machines. Thanks for the heads up on that one, Amazon.

The navigation is terrible. As an example, I load the pdf, then try to look for the exploded view for a door. I click the link. Adobe closes the manual PDF, and opens the one for the door. If I clicked the wrong link, or I need to go back to look at the next diagram, to bad. There is no way to go back to the manual. I have to now close the PDF for the door view, and re-open the manual. There is probably some setting in acrobat to have it open a new window and not close the manual, but this should be done in code. And it's trivially easy to do.

And the diagrams themselves are low-res scans, enlarged. So the diagram for the door adjustment, for example, is almost useless since you have to look at it for a while to figure out what everything is.

If you are going to just print everything, this is a bad choice since the book version is only a couple bucks more. You'll easily spend the difference and more on ink and paper. If you are going to try to use this on a computer screen in your shop, forget it.

Honestly, I'm tempted to contact Amazon and see if I can trade this for the printed version.
