A BRILLIANT INNER EAR TREATMENT FOR ADD/ADHD,
By A Customer
This review is from: Total Concentration: How to Understand Attention Deficit Disorders (Paperback)
Dr Levinson has been the first physician to write a book which proves that Ritalin is not the only solution! He offers an upbeat realistic & positive approach which is not only maverick & innovative but truly life saving!! This book gives the reader invaluable info on approaches such as beta blockers, motion sickness meds, antihistamines, vitamins minerals herbs & inner ear meds,to overcome ADD/ADHD & shows how dyslexia, learning disabilities & attention deficits all have one same root cause & treatment, namely the cerebellar vestibular inner ear dysfunction which in 90% of cases are easily & successfully treated!!! Thus proving that CHADD & other organizations are "all washed up" & obsolete/incomplete in their espoused orthodox traditional beliefs!! END

Changed My Life,
By Lightning Bug (Mesa, AZ United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Total Concentration: How to Understand Attention Deficit Disorders (Paperback)
I am writing this review to refute those who dismiss Dr. Levinson's work out of hand. I have ADD, have had it all my life. I have been diagnosed and treated by Dr. Levinson, as has my daughter. His treatment changed my life.
I first ran into this book in 1993. At the time, I read it because I suspected that a friend had ADD and was trying to help him out; surprise, as I worked my way through the book, I found that Dr. Levinson was describing the frustration and failures of my own life! I decided to test his theories. So, I tried, first, psuedoephedrine, and then phenylpropanolamine (at the time the active ingredient in Dexatrim). My symptoms improved so much that I decided to fly to New York and consult with Dr. Levinson directly. He put me on a regimen, based on his research, that changed my life. Unlike many doctors, Dr. Levinson has allowed the experiences of his patients to guide his research. For example, when ADD patients reported a lessening of their symptoms when they were taking Sudafed for colds, Dr Levinson took note and set out to learn why. When a high proportion of his ADD patients reported climbing trees as children, he looked for the connection between a desire to climb trees and ADD behaviors. This book is the result of his research. If you suspect that you or a loved one may suffer from ADD (or dyslexia), this is more than worth the read. You may find that it points the way toward an understanding of ADD and its treatment that will seem like a miracle to you.

No Evidence to Support Levinson's Claims,

This review is from: Total Concentration: How to Understand Attention Deficit Disorders With Treatment Guidelines for You and Your Doctor (Hardcover)
Levinson's been claiming for years that dyslexia and ADHD have the same source, an inner ear disturbance, and he can cure it with various medications.
Nonetheless, Levinson continues to press his claims, probably because he makes a great deal of money at it. SAVE YOUR MONEY--don't buy any of Levinson's books. |
