She has such range in her vocals!

Jim Steinman is an over-the-top rock-n-roll genius, and Bonnie Tyler sings the hell out his melodrama masquerading as a pop song.

I love this song I remember hearing this song when I was a teenager.

This is a great song, but I recommend the unedited version of Total Eclipse Of The Heart from Bonnie Tyler's Faster Than The Speed Of Night album. It is about two minutes longer than this "Single Version" and more dramatic. Jim Steinman's production and writing are top notch.

"Total Eclipse of the Heart" is bombastic, bat-sh*t crazy, and I LOVE IT! It only gets better with age. Jim Steinman is an over-the-top rock-n-roll genius, and Bonnie Tyler sings the hell out his melodrama masquerading as a pop song. Five stars in 1984, Five stars in 2013, Five stars Forever.

This was a record I loved years ago and just happened to fall over it again by accident. So glad I did.

This is a great song, but I recommend the full version of Total Eclipse Of The Heart from Bonnie Tyler's Collections album. It is about two minutes longer than this "Single Version" and more dramatic.
