This book is English, so its major focus is on the amazing increase of surveillance of those in the UK, but also talks about the USA and the other Commonwealth countries involved, particularly as it relates to the operation of Echelon and the facilities at Menwith Park and around the world, and the unprecedented access to information the rise of the internet and computing has given those in power.An interesting bibliography, too. |
