This video did a great a job of showing me how to use Microsoft Expression Studio. I was especially interested in learning about Expression Web. The Expression Web tutorial covered not only the features of the software, but it also gave a good discussion about standards-based web design and using CSS and HTML. The discussion about web design was great. I did notice one mistake that was kind of major. They said that when using layers- a powerful feature for overlapping HTML components, you can only position them in an "absolute" way. So the elements do not change position when you resize the browser window. This is not true. You simply change the layer position property from "absolute" to "relative". A layer can be held at a relative position just like any other HTML component. Other than that one mistake, this is a great product. I would recommend it.

The Total Training series is an in-depth, comprehensive approach to working with the MS Expression Web successor to MS FrontPage. The narration is clean, concise, somewhat fun at times, but thorough and very professional. Knowing the basics and working through the examples with Janie is the best way to learn, and you can always take a "refresher class" whenever you need them. The depth of training will provide you with a well balanced understanding of Expression Web and accompany the program to the most advanced portions of this truly remarkable product. A Must!!
