Too beautiful to be used for a cutting board. Whereever you place it, (not necessarily in the kitchen), it will surely be noticed. I love the checkerboard pattern and the length-wise "stripes" running down the thick sides. Also, the carved-out indentations on each side make it much easier to lift, as it is a nice, hefty weight. Excellent craftsmanship; no dings, nicks, scratches or other imperfections whatsoever! The wood-grain pattern of the bamboo really adds to the natural beauty of this eco-friendly piece. Totally Bamboo is total quality!!!
