I never would have believed a wood cutting board could save so much time for me but this bamboo one does. My knives stay sharper and I get a much cleaner cut, especially with herbs and things like scallions. I bought some food-grade mineral oil at the grocery in the pharmacy section and that keeps the board from drying out and looking beautiful. I've had many cutting boards, including hard maple, and this one is definitely among the very best wood boards. I'll never use plastic again. It's beautiful too.

This is a great product. A very nice weight and thickness for a cutting board and looks so attractive. Everyone who has seen it in my kitchen has asked me where they can get one. Things cut really nicely on it, and it cleans up beautifully. The groove around the edge is perfect to catch juice from things like tomatoes or meat. Love the product.

Looks great. Works well with my knives. Only thing I have noticed and somewhat concerned about is the appearance of 'shredding' on the surface. I.E., it appears that the bamboo is beginning to separate on the surface, leaving something like strands of fiber. I've only used the board 3-4 times. I hope it does not continue to 'shred'. Even with this concern, I plan to purchase another one of a different size.

My Shun knifes were cutting up my old wood cutting boards. But this bamboo is holding up well. And it's easy to clean. The only problem with using it is it looks to nice to cut on.

This is a great cutting board.Bamboo cutting boards are pretty cool, and they do kind of ease with regular use, and placing in the sink to wipe off.It turned out to be very helpful for mincing garlic & herbs.This cutting block is well worth the price....it is a perfect size for cutting fruits and veggies. While this is a pretty cutting board, the board split almost immediately in our kitchen even though it was never placed in the dishwasher.

Wonderful board. Now I feel that I should get better knives to simply respect it!

I bought this cutting board and its beautiful and very well made! I've been oiling mine after every few uses so that I can keep it in its original condition. The last board I had I never oiled it and the board split.

I love this cutting board. The wood is very hard and not easily marred. I did coat it with a good wood oil to keep it from drying out. I purchased this cutting board more than 6 months ago, and it looks as good today as the day I bought it. Because the wood is so dense and hard, I believe, with proper care, this cutting board will last me for many years to come.

What can be said? It's a cutting board. You can cut things on it. It looks pretty nice on the counter.
