I must confess that I bought this album dirt cheap - for all of a quid, I thought it might come in useful in some of my multimedia projects (who knows... Always useful to have around).
I must admit I did enjoy listening to this album quite a bit - it has some genuinely good artists on, and a few tracks which I always really wished i had the full version of (Julie London's rendition of Fly Me To The Moon being one of them, for example) - with Nina Simone, Benny Goodman, Peggy Lee - and the music from the Milk Tray! That's worth it just for the coolness factor ;)
It's certainly an interesting CD to have, if you're into a bit of the old video production as I have been known to indulge in, you could find this CD coming in quite useful, but otherwise it's an interesting listen into the choices of music behind some of our best-known TV ads of the past few decades... Listen and be surprised.
