This is especially the case when you need to reach into a tight space; there is no need to realign your hand to open the pliers after you press them together.

Inside the case are seven beading tools that could also be used for any type of fine work or crafting.

This a super nice set of tools. The handles are comfortable and springs are not too springy so my hand does not gets tired even when I am working on a large set of beads. The springs use the double leaf spring construction.

The set includes chain nose pliers, round nose pliers, flat nose pliers, wire cutter, tweezers, bead reamer and brass millimeter gauge. The pliers are made out of stainless steel and handles are made out of pliable material. They are not soft, but more gentle on my hand than hard plastic handles. The vinyl case holds all the tools in place.

I would have loved to get a set of tools like that when I was starting out beading. Even now it is a nice upgrade to my old tools and it is nice to have a matching set of tools in a case rather than a variety I bought over time. Attached video contains a number of close ups of the tools to give you a better idea of what to expect.

This tool set is provided by TotallyTools.

At $14, even with shipping fees, the value of this kit for the price is AMAZING. I've been designing jewelry for a few years, and have decided to transition from beading as a hobby to a business. I was looking for better quality tools that fit my hands more adequately. But since I haven't actually started my business yet, I'm not making money from my designs right now, so I needed affordable tools as well. This set fit all of my qualifications and exceeded my expectations.

The stainless steel construction of the tools is fantastic, they feel very solid when you're working with them. The foam handles are comfortable, yet sturdy. Everything comes in a leather pouch that zips up nicely. It's a great size for traveling, but I love the tools so much that this is going to be my go-to kit, and I may purchase another one for travel.

I buy from Amazon all the time, and I've never been excited enough to review a product before.

It should be noted that my hands are very small. I have a hard time finding tools that fit in my hand and that I can use comfortably for long periods of time. These fit the bill! I'm not familiar with this company, but I will be looking to Totally Tools for my future needs.

This is a very decent set of small tools for wire work, hobby jewelry or RBA (or similar device) coil building and working on attys. While the tools are not “pro” quality they are a definite step up from the bargain basement type tools sets that are out there.

All of the tools have nice non-slip handles and a leaf spring to aid in use. Listed below are the items and my star rating for each (on a 1 to 5 star scale)

>>Needle nose pliers – (5 stars) very well done. Smooth jaws that are nicely machined to a blunt point. Tips meet perfectly at the end.

>>Spade tip pliers – (5 stars) similar to the needle nose, but the jaws are flat and 4mm at the tip. Smooth jaws that are nicely machined with even tips that meet perfectly at the end. Great for grabbing, twisting and crimping since you get more grip area than with needle nose pliers. My favorite tool in the pack.

>>Round tip pliers – (4.5 stars) nice, but not as well made as the other pliers in that the round tips are slightly off at the end. Not by much, but it can be noticed.

>>Wire cutter (3 stars) – only average. The blades are not all that sharp and don’t give a clean cut on very fine wires. It cuts, but I’ll stick with other cutters and use these only for rough cuts.

>>Tweezers (5 stars) – surprisingly good since this is usually the tool that gets the short end of the stick in tool collections. Thick, sturdy arms that taper down to a fine tip point. Very nice tolerances – I was able to pick up and hold single strands of thread without a problem. It would be nice if the arms had the same non-slip coating as the pliers, but even so, it earns 5 stars.

>>Calipers (3.

This is not quite as great as I was expecting, given that all the reviews are five stars, so I thought I'd enter my own. I am new to beading, but not new to tools, and while I still think this is a good set for the money, it's not perfect.

Pros:
1. Stainless steel tools, aside from the bead gauge, which are brass
2. Rubberized handles are comfortable
3. The four plier-type things have a good spring to them -- not too stiff and not too flimsy
4. Handy to have the case. Also the case has pleasant padding on it. I'm used to tools you just toss in the tool box and am not sure all this protection is warranted for the non-sharp tools. However, you don't want your jewelry-making tools to get dinked up (and then scratch your work, so probably, yes, the case is a good idea.

Cons:
1. I am surprised that the tips don't meet up properly on all the pliers. This is my biggest gripe, a sort of WTF for me.
2. The bead gauge has too much play in it, and lacks the markings on the inches side to make that side fully useful.
3. The tweezers have a nylon tip to keep them safe, but the bead reamer does not, and is very poky there in the case, where it bumps into the zipper.
4. The red handles are discolored from the black case lining

It looks like most of the other reviewers were provided free samples for review, which I hadn't paid attention to when I was buying mine.

I think this is still a good starter set, but I am disappointed
