This entryway memo board is okay. It just isn't quite what I expected. The dry-erase part of the board is a little difficult to clean. I would recommend using it as a wet erase board (dry erase didn't seem to come off with solvent, wet erase came off quickly with just water). I don't actually use it as a charging station, so I can't speak to that. I use it to house-related notes on and to hold the following items: keys, phone, men's wallet, women's card case, netflix dvd's to return and some other small items. Because it is a charging station each of the sections has wholes in the bottom. I covered these with a solid material (thick cardboard would probably be okay too), so that things don't fall down through the bottom. Overall, I am pleased with the product except the memo board section. I would not recommend this as a general mail holder.
