5.0 out of 5 stars A Touch of Betrayal
This was the first Catherine Palmer book I read and I loved it. It is a wonderful story full of adventure and romance. I found myself not wanting to put it down. Ms. Palmer brings the characters to life and you find yourself feeling a part of their world. The message of Christ is developed through the faith of the characters and the story shows how important a witness...

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay
I was really looking forward to reading this book, having already read the first two and it was a huge let down. The story seemed to drag out and I couldn't really get involved in the story line at all. The first book about Tillie and Graham was much better and was the best book of the whole series. I would still read Catherine Palmer books but, this is one that I would...

Why she hides herself away etc.

Ms. Palmer brings the characters to life and you find yourself feeling a part of their world. The message of Christ is developed through the faith of the characters and the story shows how important a witness through example in all aspects of life can bring others to "surrender". If you like suspence, adventure, romance and an element of surprise - I highly recommend this book.

What I really liked about this book and others by Palmer is that you can tell she lived in Africa. It makes you feel like you have visited there too. Also I love how her "mama" uses scripture all the time in a very natural way as if the Bible is so a part of her thinking that her answers always rely on scripture for support - I wish I were more this way myself.

This review is from: A Touch of Betrayal (Treasures of the Heart Series #3) (Kindle Edition)
This series of books have been excellent to read! This story about Alexandra and Grant deep in the heart of Africa is an exciting book that unites two people that seem total opposites. To see the sophisticated New York designer, Alexandra, fall in love with the people of Africa and their culture is fun to witness. To see Grant make the journey to welcoming Alexandra into his life is also amazing. In addition, watching Grant slowly put his trust into God is a very honest and realistic look at what many people face on their spiritual journey. It was great to see Mama Hannah an intricate character in this book as well. In addition to the romance element, it was exciting to have the extra plot of figuring out who was trying to murder Alexandra and why. This is an excellent book that I hated to see end. Thumbs up again for Mrs. Catherine Palmer!

Another Catherine Palmer success! Another member of this quirky family was introduced. The suspese and romance mix was great! This showed the love of God can touch even the biggest skeptic.
