We've been reading this book since my son was 7 months old, he's now almost 11 months old and knows what he likes in books. He loves the tiger, always has. The frog he's never felt for, the orangutan he pulls the hairs out of, they get all over... yuck, but he likes it. The snake he's recently started touching, but only for a second, then he skips right over the toucan and the book's over. So he basically likes three of the five animals. He hardly ever wants to read it a second time.I also don't like that some of the photos are slightly pixelated, like they didn't print from large enough files... hello!?! My son prefers when there is an animal on the page with no other distractions, these animals are pictured with jungle plants as well and he just isn't interested. But other babies might find it fascinating... it's just not for us... yet... ???

So, we've read 'Jungle Animals', now all we've got to do is find room for all the other great books in the 'Touch and Feel' series
