This durable board book is a collection of five favorite Bible stories with a twist...each page features an item to touch and feel, making the little reader a part of the story. The animations are bright and vibrant and the stories are told simply but faithfully. Little hands will reach for this book over and over!

My 1-year old son enjoys this book because it has creative touch and feel images like a crocodile and sand. He actually lets me read through the entire book which rarely happens with other books. The text is brief to keep little ones attention; yet, it embraces the main idea of each story. On days when my son is willing to listen to more, I can easily add more detail from the original scriptures.

I bought this book to for my 6 month old. I always have a hard time trying to get her to sit through the church services. She absolutely LOVES to look at this book and feel all of the different things. I do wish it would have had more then just 1 "feel" per page tho

At last I found a book for younger ones that they can touch and feel the animals as you read the story of Baby Jesus on the night he was born. It is simple enough but not to simple to keep them interested.

I got this for my 1 year old son because he loves all his touch and feel books and wanted him to get a little religion in his life since we don't attend church regularly. I really like this book and he enjoys it a lot. I can't wait until he understands it more around Christmas!

This book came in excellent condition, within the time frame given, and it is a wonderful story about the birth of Jesus that isn't difficult for children to understand. My 21 month old daughter loves to read this and she enjoys feeling the different pages and pointing out the different animals and giving the animal sounds.

My son is two, and we wanted to get a few books to talk about Baby Jesus this holiday, instead of all the commercial Santa stuff.
This book is very simple and easy to read. My son has memorized parts of it so I can pause while reading and let him take over. He loves touching the animals and the angel's 'dress' or robe on the one page. It's a really cool book. He calls it his "baby Jesus book" and wants us to read it almost every night.
It's a hard book too, like a board book, so it's perfect for a toddler. We'll be using this for years to come.

This is a nice book with a good message. The problem I have with it is that the reading level is way beyond the age that it seems geared for. A touch and feel book seems like it would be geared towards 0-3 year olds but the text is from the Bible and isn't "baby friendly." There's nothing wrong with it but it just doesn't seem like a book you would read to a baby.

I have been reading books to my 6 month old baby since he was about 3 months old. He absolutely loves it!
