This is the stuff to use for pipe and wire penetrations where you want to slow fire spread.

I was sold on this after watching a youtube video where this material self-extinguishes and the stuff I could buy at the big box store continued to burn.

They say it is reusable, but the nozzles clogged on me after one use, just like the other brands I've tried.

Product can easily be applied, but it can get messy. The application is similar to high expansion foam stuff that you can buy. This product was approved by local inspectors.

A good quality foam sealer, sets up fairly quickly and offers good rigidity when cured.

Hard to clean up, beware of that. Plan to have lots of paper towels at hand and don't spill it on flooring or other surfaces since it is almost impossible to get off of them even when wet.

It seals well and quickly. not easy to clean off anything you accidentally touch with it. I hope to never find out its fire resistant.

This stuff actually does its job. I took a piece to test and set it on fire. Turns black but does not burst into flames like other brands. If you do a youtube search there is a video that shows a test of about four major fire block foam brands. This one does the best. The others stay lit and burn. incredible that those brands are allowed to advertise as fire blocks.

Worked perfectly for patching holes made when wiring my house of media devices and internet. I did have some pressure problems with the can. The straw only worked once and then was too clogged to use again. And after the first use the pressure was somewhat unreliable making it difficult to use this to get out of reach areas.

Excellent product, expands a lot so go easy when applying it, don't do like me that put too much and then have to comeback and cut the excess out, wasting good material and time.

Used it to seal fire-place, because it had a lot of drafts. We were using fire-place after that seems like nothing was wrong.

Super messy! The nozzle that it came with kept coming off and it is hard to remove from your skin. Recommend you wear disposable gloves if you do opt to use this.

Worked good on filling a rusted out muffler on a motorcycle I was restoring. Pricey, but can withstand the heat considering the locale of the application.
