Good overall movie but its success depends on Ajay Naidu's performance as "the kid". Everyone knows movies with kids and animals risk big time failure. This movie works because of the relationship between Naidu and Keaton. Now only if it could be released on DVD...

I haven't seen this movie in years, but I remember it was very good when I saw it. I haven't bought the vhs version because I'm waiting for the DVD release. There are still a lot of movies made in the 80s and prior that are excellent but still have not been released on DVD and this is one of them. Great stuff between the two main characters. DVD please!

This is one of my all time favorite movies. Michael Keaton and Maria Conchita Alonso are wonderful. It is an entertaining and heartwarming story about a young boy headed in the wrong direction in life and a playboy hockey player who become friends and "straighten" each other out. I highly recommend this movie.

I loved this romance movie. I remember when this came out! I was honestly trying to purchase the movie on dvd, but watching it came up instead. This is a beautiful, funny, and cute romance movie I could watch over and over. I would recommend this to anyone who loves romance movies with a flare of comedy. Thank you Amazon for having it on your site. :)

Format: VHS Tape
Self-centered, skirt chasing, ice hockey player finds his life ultimately changed when he's mugged by an obnoxious 11 year old (and by also becoming attracted to the kids fiery mother). This feature sat on the proverbial for a couple of years (note what movie the kid wants to see!!) but it's better than that would suggest. Minor fare to be sure but with some snappy dialogue and good laughs early on. Naidu, as the kid, is very good, Alonso beautiful as the mum and Keaton is effortlessly amusing (as usual). Goes astray towards the end but worth the view. Look fast for NYPD Blues' Charlotte Ross as one of the girls at the party.

Rating is maybe closer to a 2.5.
