2008 two-fer featuring a double dose of Johnny Rivers on one CD. Touch of Gold (1969) and Wild Night (1976). Johnny Rivers (born John Henry Ramistella, November 7 1942, in New York) is an American Rock 'N' Roll singer, songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. He was versatile enough to do folk songs, blues, covers of old-time rock 'n' roll songs, and some original material, all of them in his own unique style. Rivers' greatest success came in the mid and late 1960s with a string of hit songs, 'Seventh Son', 'Poor Side of Town' and 'Secret Agent Man'. BGO Records.

I had been looking for A touch of Gold on cd for awhile and was very happy to find it, plus a whole bonus recording that I'd never heard before. Going Back to Big Sur is my favorite Johnny Rivers song, especially since going there. I don't think there were any songs that I did not like.

Classic rivers with the addition of the under rated Wild Night CD.

Maybe not a must have but definitly a should have!
