Phenomenal club mix--so glad it was released on CD, April 16, 2008

I was highly concerned that none of Mariah's new remixes would make it to CD, but let's just say that, while it is disappointing that there weren't more club mixes on here, the only one you'll really ever need is the Seamus Haji Club Mix. This near ten minute club mix is phenomenal, completely transforming an extremely hokey and mediocre Mariah tune into a sensual house mix slammer and showing that she still keeps her club music fans satisfied with every release (she often goes in and recuts her vocals specifically to better work with the house mixes of her songs). This remix simply makes this a better song. I'm also thrilled to hear, now that the E=MC2 album is out, we don't get a CD worth of clones of the original version of this song because, with a vocalist as powerful as Mariah with her songwriting abilities, this kind of track is simply a throw away. The CD is loaded with fantastic tunes that should have been released as singles before this song. Sure wish Mariah would make a video for the club mix of Touch My Body. The video with the guy from The Office wears thin as fast as the original mix of this song does. Here's hoping that some of the amazing songs from the new CD are released as singles with tons more club mixes as great as this one.
