I'm not sure why the previous two rated this song, Touch my body, on the basis of the entire album and the video.
This review is for this song.
It has a great beat, easy to dance to, and a wonderful little chorus you can sing in your partners ear and be sure you will have a fun evening. Or afternoon, or whenever.
AND, because the other two reviews reviewed the album/video, this is my take. I thought the video for Touch My Body was incredibly cute, and someone must like it as it has spent weeks at the top of they Yahoo videos. AND this song has stuck at the top of amazon sales, AND, the E=MC squared bit, I think in this she has taken a spin and the MC stands for Mariah Carey, not mass and the speed of light.
So, Even though I didn't give it five stars, I give this song four stars, it is a very good song. It just didn't hit the "awesome" button but it certainly is better than what the other two reviews have given it.

I luv this song. I have never bought anything by Mariah before this. I got turned on to her and this album when she sang Bye Bye on American Idol this year. Some long term fans seem to compare this album to previous works and say it's OK but not as good as the old, which I guess would be hard not to do. But taking this song at face value as a new fan, I think it's a great song!

Touch My Body goes places that you'd expect "throw me on the floor/play with me some more" and to the unexpected "if there's a camera up in here/i best not catch this flick on youtube, youtube."

It's very playful and catchy. You may have to hear it a few times before you like it. But for most of us who have heard it before we already like or dislike it so...

There are no doubts about Mariah Carey, and her constant vocals that have shown that there is no holding her down. But, there are those few songs that honestly just aren't some of her best works. Her latest single is no acception to that rule. Touch My Body, the first single from her latest album E=MC2, isn't one of her best songs that she has recorded. While the feeling of the song isn't bad, its video has been a big turnoff. The song does follow Mariah's vocals nicely, but I just wasn't completely impressed. It just didn't seem to blow me away like the songs from her last record, The Emancipation Of Mimi did. I just honestly hope the next single shines better than this one did. It wasn't completely touching.

and what in the world does Einstein's equation of mass and light have to do with sex? I mean, I understand having sex as the subject of a song.... but seriously, it's like she's trying to hard.

This is not Mariah, nothing on this CD is amazing... nothing has the "wow" factor, nothing show's off her talents... they are just all mediocre songs.
