4.0 out of 5 stars Spiffy Little Evening Shoe
I needed a quick footwear purchase for my high school reunion -- a shoe that could look dressy but allow me to be comfortable with a recently injured big toe. The design took all pressure off my toes, was open and classy for summer wear, and had a cute little heel.

A prior review mentioned an instability of the "kitten heel." I am 5'8" and had no experience...

I needed a quick footwear purchase for my high school reunion -- a shoe that could look dressy but allow me to be comfortable with a recently injured big toe. The design took all pressure off my toes, was open and classy for summer wear, and had a cute little heel.

A prior review mentioned an instability of the "kitten heel." I am 5'8" and had no experience of them wobbling, collapsing or making me feel insecure at all.

The price is a major plus.

My single complaint is that the lifts on the heels did split and fall off, leaving me to walk on the metal screw-heads -- this may have been caused by my having to hike through a huge, rough black-top parking lot to get to the restaurant that night -- but I didn't even notice the loss until I took them off at home after being the belle of the ball. (But if I only get one wearing out of them, they fulfilled their assigned purpose.)
