I picked up this translations over seven years ago and credit it, in part, for beginning my journey through the Bible. First the New Living Translation is easy to read and understand. Second, this particular edition takes inspirational and encouraging verses and puts them right at the top of the page in large bold type so that all you have to do is flip through the pages and you'll quickly find a word of encouragement. I would reacommend this Bible version for anyone wanting to read the Bible, but feeling intimidated (or bored) by other translations. I would strongly recommend this version as a gift as well.

I bought this Bible because I wanted one that was easy to understand and would help me find what God's word says about my problems. This is the best ever. Anytime something is bothering me I can look in it and it will direct me to the passages that give the most help and answers.

I stumbled upon The Touchpoint Bible at a Women's Retreat. Flipping through, I became immediately engrossed. Not only does this Bible translate God's Word into language I understand, it also has "mini" Bible studies--or Touchpoints-- on a huge varirety of topics. Whenever life throws something at me I don't understand, I browse the index and go directly to the Touchpoint that seems most relevant to what I am experiencing. It is TONS easier to use than a concordance. It truly delivers what it claims: God's word at your point of need. I recommend this Bible to all of my friends! Some have been hesitant and cautioned that it is a paraphrase, not a translation, but they are wrong in this assumption. I show them the part in the front of the book that explains how The New Living Translation came to be and they are impressed at it's credentials as a new translation of God's Word. This is a GREAT translation for new believers, in my opinion, as well as a wonderful addition to the library of Bibles on every Christian's shelf.

We take the time to read so many other books. This is the one book we should all read and the Touchpoint Bible does it in a way that makes it both easy and enjoyable. The wealth of information - better yet - wisdom - on everyday living surprised me. This version of the Bible has an index in the back that points you to text within the Bible that will help you understand "life". I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with having this Bible as their reference to both good times and bad. Anyone who reads this version will have a deeper understanding of their faith.

I picked up this Bible for the new translation since my other Bible was the older Living Bible. I was amazed at how helpful this Bible was. I was in a very hurting situation and went to the back picked the emotion I was feeling and read the scripture associated with the emotion. Now it's the main source I use first for help. I was so impressed I bought the smaller Touchpoint pocket book.

The only draw back of this book is that the paper cover curls. I bought a cover like the one's they put on library paperbacks and it solved my problem. It's a more durable book now. And I can wipe off the cover if it gets wet or dirty.

Awesome Book! A great help when you are broken and hurting.

This bible "touches" my life and the lives of those around me. Everywhere I take it people want to pick it up and read it: even un-believers. It's wonderful layout and easy language helps to make this the most user-friendly study bibles around. I take it everywhere I go - i'ts almost like a security blanket. I would recommend this bible to all brothers and sisters in Christ who need a deeper understanding and to those who are still soul searching for God and a relationship with him.

The most easiest bible to read and understand. Not sure how to read one, just go to the back, look up a word you are feeling, and bingo there is the passages right there for you and pages.

I have a few other Bibles,but this one is very easy to find what you are looking for. My other Bible are NIV and The Book, they to are good books but touch point is much easier to read and understand. I am new to reading the Bible so this book is a great help to me.

This Bible is so easy to read and understand. I have bought several copies for my children and for friends who are going through tough times. I like the fact that any problen you have it will direct you to the right scriptures that shows you how God wants you to handle it, or just to let you know that He is always with us. It got me through alot when I was raising three teenagers and now with my aging mother and grandkids it helps me stay on the right track. I can not say enought great thing about this Bible.
