I am a beautiful person.,

This app is fantastic. It replaced Swype for me, which I though no keyboard would ever do. The title of my review is a joke that revolves around Swiftkey's predictive system. As you type messages, it will learn the normal progression of your words and sentences, and begin to predict words before you type them. After a couple of weeks of using it, things you say often won't need more than a few taps of the spacebar before you hit "Send." Every once in a while, I experience a bit of lag when the keyboard starts, but this is rare and worth it. It is always improving and the developers are personable (they've replied politely to e-mails I have sent). Highly recommended!

Best Keyboard Replacer,
This review is from: SwiftKey Keyboard (App)
the layout and prediction engine on this are absolutely amazing. there are many times when I can write a whole text/tweet by simply pressing a few buttons since it already knows what I'm going to say. (or maybe I'm just too predictable;) It can even remember the last message you typed so for some reason you mess up or want to send a message twice, just keep tapping one of the three prediction boxes and chances are it will be able to recreate your message verbatim. There are also lots of customization options regarding the auto-complete and autocorrect features. So hands down the best keyboard out there. Better than Swype and the gingerbread stock keyboard. written using SwiftKey

A real standout in a market saturated with options,

One thing is for certain... the Android platform has many options for aftermarket keyboard replacements. After trying/using a number of these options, including the Froyo stock keyboard, the Gingerbread stock keyboard, Better Keyboard, Swype, HTC Sense keyboard, and Vlingo keyboard I have concluded that Swiftkey offers the best combination of features for a "daily driver" keyboard. Prior to using Swiftkey I was a die hard Swype fan. I will occasionally get an urge to use Swype but have found that the prediction engine Swiftkey utilizes is so good at doing just that... predicting what I will type next... that I ultimately switch back to Swiftkey and stay with it for the long run.
Having also been lucky enough to be beta testing the next version of Swiftkey for the past week or so has let me see what this application is going to offer in the near future... an even BETTER prediction engine and the best ease of use keyboard on the market. I rarely endorse products or "pick sides" but Swiftkey is just so good that I am driven to offer my humble opinion that Swiftkey is the best aftermarket keyboard available on the market today.

I really don't buy many apps, but I did buy this one.. Soon after that, they offered a beta to test. I went with that. Now it is released (SwiftKey X), and I found that I can't upgrade it!
Here it the e-mail exchange with the vendor: Hi Tom, Did you manage to get a free copy of SwiftKey on Amazon yesterday? (I had no notification of this - even though I contacted the vendor a few days before it was offered as app of the day) Kind Regards, Sarah No - I didn't catch that until it was too late. I would have expected that since I bought it from Amazon, it should allow the update to update the product... We did make a commitment that paid users of SwiftKey would get a free upgrade to SwiftKey X, and this is what we did at launch on Android Market. Unfortunately, the only way that we could achieve this on Amazon App Store was through the Free For A Day campaign which Amazon offered us. I am very happy to refund your app for you, however, this could cause issues with future updates. Please let me know if you would a refund. So has anyone else been through a refund with this vendor?? I'm very uncomfortable about the statement "This cause issues with future updates..." Great - so I am using a app that might break - one of the few I paid for! I thought the idea behind using Amazon for android apps was offering a level of protection and vendor accountability. In this case - it didn't work out - so buyer beware!

Great prediction. Keyboard could use a little work.,
This review is from: SwiftKey Keyboard (App)
The prediction on this keyboard is excellent. No question about it.
If i could combine this keyboard with the gingerbread 2.3 keyboard I'd be one seriously happy customer. While prediction is excellent, now and then you run into a situation where you need special characters or a number. This keyboard needs work in these areas. Pop-up rows of letters require two clicks whereas other keyboards require only one press-and-slide operation for better accuracy and speed. The current implementation feels broken to me. Needs work. Development seems to have stopped on this keyboard as I have not had any updates in a while. But there is a lot of fine tuning that could be done to make this product better. This keyboard also needs more themes. The default is not very "android" looking. A black theme a la gingerbread would be nice to have. Though it has some negatives this keyboard is well worth a look for the word prediction alone. After using it for a while it will cut the number of characters you have to type by about 20% and makes entering common strings of words a snap. Worth a download for sure.

This app is why you got Android,

Text entry is effortless with SwiftKey. And because you're picking words instead of letters, you will not have weird auto correct errors like on some other platforms. Lastly, you'll be able to type one-handedly very effectively. If you're reading this because SwiftKey is the free app of the day, stop reading immediately and just hit the download button. You'll thank me later, I promise.

Even within a few minutes of having this app installed, it was successfully predicting words. It's a great time savor and it's much better than the stock Android keyboard on my Nexus S.

Probably the best keyboard out there, it reads your mind as you type. I don't even use the physical keyboard anymore. I recommend this to everyone.

SwiftKey is amazing. I was a huge fan of Swype, but I'm converted. It's a bit scary how well the program is able to predict your text.
