A Kid's Review
Book Review

This book is called a Delicate Balance in The Touched by an Angel Series. Monica Hall is the writer of this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves the sport of gymnastics and struggles through the training. A Delicate Balance is about a girl named Rebecca and she loves gymnastics. I would give this book five stars because it touches you inside and lets you see someone or everyone has a certain emotion or fear. It's also terrific because it makes you want to read it over and over again. The problem is that Rebecca's father had died of cancer and she pushes herself through gymnastics. She tries to push her emotion out. After her father had died they moved right out of their house and lived in motels. Then comes along three angels who helps Rebecca, her mother, and her brother T.J. Their names are Tess, for Mother, Andrew, for T.J, and Monica, for Rebecca. Although they don't know that they are angels. Rebecca's friends are Kristy and Nicole, but she makes mean remarks that they don't care about her and she pushes them out of the way too. Read this book to find out if Rebecca can break out of her inner self and let her emotion come out with the help of the angels.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for all., October 15, 2000

This review is from: Touched By An Angel Fiction Series: Delicate Balance (Touched By An Angel Series) (Paperback)
This book is a great book for all. It covers issues such as coping with the death of a loved one, sibling rivalry, and pressure put on children to do beyond their very best at any cost. Even though it's written at a lower reading level, I think adults can still learn a thing or two from it. It reminds us all that God loves us and that He's there watching over us, and that we don't always have to work so hard to try to deserve it. I recommend this book to anyone who loves the show Touched by an Angel, and anyone who doesn't!
