This review is for the marketing and packaging only. Touched by an Angel is one of my favorite shows ever (along with 24.) CBS (or whoever) give us seasons 5 -9 instead of these best ofs. I urge consumers to not buy these packages and leave comments so that maybe the genius in charge of all this will get the message!

This is a combined review for the following compilations:

I'm guessing that since THIS show's about ANGELS, most people interested in IT believe in a higher power.
I know that I do. I've GOT quite a lot of these shows on VHS-cassettes. The 44 VHS-tapes that comprised--
for example--THE TWILIGHT ZONE, at $25, each, COST $1,300 after you pay shipping charges.
The ENTIRE original series from Rod Sterling [on DVD] fits in my coat pockets, and costs less than $200.
The set IT replaced fit-- just barely-- into a shopping cart!
So! COLUMBIA HOUSE HOME VIDEO went the way of the Dinosaur when LASER-technology replaced the lowly video-
cassette. Now, the [*better!*] N-E-W BLU-ray is getting hot. Plasma TVs replaced by LCD, LED replacing THAT, and,
now, 3-D-LED-TVs are being sold. The people that create all these new technologies make a bundle. The companies
that O-N-C-E sold 8mm & 16mm films; Beta Max; VHS; Disco-Vision [played like an LP!];12" LASER-discs {I'll skip the
other two sizes}; and KCKs (Kryptonian Crystals of Knowledge) are rightfully CAUTIOUS about reproducing ANYTHING
that has questionable S-E-L-L-I-N-G potential. Think about it.
SOME consumers are S-O P'O'd, they O-N-L-Y illegally down-load everything they watch. You might think "Who cares?"
YOU should care. These four "Touched By an Angel" collections AREN'T produced to get YOU interested in something Y-O-U
already have, they're to interest someone-- like ME --that is HESITANT to by any of them for fear of obsolescense. I
actually BOUGHT all four titles. I even took the trouble, and voted a RAVE REVIEW so there would be more! If you voted less
than rave reviews, then keep right on "smokin'", because your actions will put nails in the coffins of unreleased seasons, too.
Let me get out my glasses--I'm sixty-- and tell you what is on each disc-- YOU can figure out which of the NINE seasons they

PSALM 151--- Monica and Tess inspire hope to a dying boy-- and his mother (Wynonna Judd). Celine Dion plays herself.

NETHERLANDS--- A--then--chubby angelic Valerie "Gloria" Bertinelli is born.
MY DINNER WITH ANDREW--- A competitive female doctor buys a date with an angel at a fund-raiser.

FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT--- A bullied boy learns to box to MORE than defend himself; he meets his hero Muhammad Ali.
[[I always cry when the angels reveal themselves; seeing what Parkinsons has done to Mister Ali did the same thing--
very touching "TOUCHED.." episode!]]
FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS--- A woman senator's son-- and angels-- coax a trip to free slaves in Sudan.
FAMOUS LAST WORDS--- A murderer on the eve of execution is reunited with his mother...and God. Another tear-jerker,
but NOT from an angelic revelation. It's a mother/son thing.
THE GOOD EARTH--- A dying scientist (Chester from GUNSMOKE) teaches a kid (Littlest Vampire)eco-stuff.

"======HOLIDAY======":[1994-1998]
FEAR NOT--- Randy(Wayne)Travis is tired of babysitting mentally-challenged Joey. A Christmas miracle-- the ONLY time
you see angelic FLIGHT-- restore hope all around!
THE FEATHER--- Randy Travis's character-- and Joey-- reprise their roles accompanied by their long-lost con-brother...
and an angel's feather.
IT CAME UPON A MIDNIGHT CLEAR--- Randy Travis makes this a triple-dip appearance. I'm guessing it'd've been better to
call THIS collection "CHRISTMAS", or "CHRISTMAS WITH WAYNE & JOEY".
AN ANGEL ON THE ROOF--- Three truckers-- MAGI-ically meet at a lonely inn in the desert for the birth of a boy... on
Christmas.

TOUGH LOVE--- An alcohol-addicted authoress (Phylicia Rashad)does more acting in THIS episode than all her appearances on
THE COSBY SHOW; combined. Wow! REUNION--- Natalie Cole's character has AIDS. Poet Maya Angelou's character is scared--spirit-
less--when her son falls in love with that doomed woman.
THIEF OF HEARTS--- Patti LuPone is an angry woman robbed by a boy that's DYING to be adopted. Hmmm!
AT THE END OF THE AISLE--- Wynonna Judd, in a recurring role--is this her THIRD or FOURTH appearance?--invited the angels--
but NOT God-- to her wedding.

I HOPE you have some FAITH in my thoughts of LOVE. In the spirit of the HOLIDAY-- it'll be Valentine's Day, this Sunday, as I
write this-- I pray you'll be an "angel" and buy all FOUR of these. Write a GREAT review, and help the studio-heads release
MORE of these... without changing the music-- which WAS changed on the HOLIDAY one.
Oh! And there's not a single "TOYOTA" in the bunch-- all the episodes worked for ME!

Please release seasons 5-9!!!!! Been waiting since Jan 2009. What is the point of releasing the same episodes under different categories we just want the rest of the seasons

This is a good show. Kind of disappointed that seasons 5 thru 9 aren't out yet, but these are good stories anyway. They always made you think. Maybe the rest of the seasons will come out later!!

I truly love this series but I don't understand why they won't release the remaining seasons. I just wish if they plan to release the episodes this way, PLEASE stop releasing episodes that are already on dvd. PLEASE! PLEASE!

I also would like to see seasons 5-9 available. I would much prefer that also instead of these separate ones they are putting out. Thanks

These episodes highlight Gods' love for us, our love for Him, and how we should love one another in a Godly way. While not a replacement for a Church Service-they can help teach to youngsters as well as non-believers what true Christianity is all about. Sometimes learning "by example" works best in a fictional story setting like these. Whether alone or with close family or friends you can allow your emotions to have free reign while viewing and not keep the worlds view of "manly" control of yourself.

This dvd was good but I was hoping for the entire season to come out. I already have 3 of the 4 episodes and I was hoping to get some that I didn't already have.

I'm not good with words but this is wonderful. Well worth the wait for this collection. Thank you a lot.

God's power, love and mercy. The season 1-4 include audio and subtitle in spanish, but this DVDs not include. I highly recommend it.
